WSI Pricing Structure

If you aren't ready for WSI to come out in person, we are happy to have a phone call or VTC meeting to discuss your concerns, strategies for meeting local fire mitigation standards, or general knowledge sharing about wildfire mitigation requirements. 

If you then decide to have WSI come and do an in-person visit, we will credit half the amount of the phone call cost towards your full evaluation. 

This assessment is tailored for homeowners looking to see a reduction in their homeowners insurance costs by meeting California Insurance Commission requirements (consistent with the IBHS 'Wildfire Prepared" standard tiers). WSI will perform a full evaluation of your home and property using our StructureGroup Pro software. Afterwards, we will walk you around and explain where corrections need to be made to meet the standard level you desire. A full recommendations report is provided. 

After you have completed the work to meet jurisdictional requirements or the Wildfire Prepared Home Base/Home Plus standards, WSI will facilitate the completion of a 3rd party final inspections. Meeting one of the Wildfire Prepared standards meets all CA Homeowner Insurance rebate requirements and is aligned to the CA "Safer From Wildfires" regulatory framework. 

WSI specializes in providing AB-38 compliant Natural Hazards Disclosure Reports for real estate transactions occurring in the High or Very High Wildfire Severity Hazard Zones. We will work with your Agent to ensure that the evaluation and report is provided in a timely manner to avoid delays in negotiations and escrow. Our reports fully meet AB-38,  AB-1455 and the CA WUI Code requirements. 

Note: Homes over 3,500 sq ft in size incur additional charges of $75 per 500 ft.

Our founder, Dr. Stephen Fillmore provides limited subject matter expertise to clients who need deep insights into technical wildfire issues. Dr. Fillmore is a Wildfire Social Scientist with expertise in qualitative data collection and analysis and published in general and technical forums. He is an internationally recognized expert in hazardous fuel management and prescribed fire as well as wildfire operations and command and holds the highest US Federal qualifications for all (RXB1/OSCC/ICCI).
